On Sunday 4th December twenty-nine Howlers flocked to The Magpie for an afternoon of mirth and merriment as we tucked into our Xmas meal. It was a chance for members, both long-term and new and their partners to get into the Christmas spirit. Our customary charity raffle this year, was in aid of Motor Neurone Disease for which we raised £130. Martin managed to hold all the winning numbers, despite Steve Hill's best attempts to thoroughly shuffle all the tickets. Martin did though, very generously put some back into the draw. We got off to a good start with a complimentary glass (or two) of Prosecco after which the conversation flowed and lots of laughter followed. As the group booking was quite large, we also received a complimentary voucher for £100 which members will be able to share in, during one of our January club nights. Great to see everyone having a good time.
